We’re excited to be looking at one of our franchised partners, Degson, in this month’s vendor highlight. Since the company’s foundation in 1990, they’ve become a world-renowned manufacturer of terminal blocks and industrial connectors.
Degson Electrical Co. Ltd. was founded in 1990 and has been working with industrial connectors and device connection solutions for more than 30 years. In 2009, Degson branched out into Germany, opening a facility in Frankfurt and then they further expanded in 2015 with a new manufacturing factory in Vietnam. Currently, they have more than 2,500 employees, with around 1,000 in their Vietnam factory, and a total sales revenue of 170 million USD.
Degson is currently working to further develop the US market and is particularly interested in NACS chargers, which they’re forecasting to be a competitive niche in coming years. Their Vietnam factory is set to assist with servicing this new market by manufacturing these products, including EV chargers and energy storage products.
Degson ships to over 90 countries around the world, including the US, China, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Japan, Brazil, and South Korea. Their commitment to producing quality products can be seen by the company’s numerous certifications, even being the first laboratory to be authorized by both UL and VDE in Asia. They also have a Research and Development Center which they utilize in the creation of their products, including high-precision casting, stamping, molding and injection-molding production.
Degson produces a wide selection of reliable connectors for their customers and is one of the leading manufacturers of terminal blocks. Their product line is used in many applications and top brands like Panasonic, Siemens, and Samsung.
With over 30 years of experience, Degson has a large product offering that can satisfy most needs in the industrial connector area. Just a few examples of products they offer are terminal blocks, din-rail terminal blocks, circular connectors, heavy-duty connectors, high-voltage connectors, and relays. They also offer EV chargers and I/O housing and most of their products have both the UL and VDE certifications.

As for custom products, Degson is able to use a customer’s design and detailed requirements to produce a customized product. They will do an evaluation of the plans and give feedback to figure out tooling cost and other details to give a quote based on your needs. This tooling cost may even be negligible depending on the volume of custom components ordered.
