Winstar has announced the production introduction of two new displays. The first is a 5 inch TFT LCD display model number WF50C. The WF50C includes a built in ILI6480H2 LCD driver; and supports 24-bit RGB parallel interface. Nexsun likes the WF50C because it can be used for industrial controls, medical applications, and other hardened conditions.
The second is a LVDS 7 inch TFT LCD display model number WF70BSIAHLNN0 with high brightness. The high brightness makes this display suitable for outdoor applications or in commercial/industrial situations where the indoor lighting conditions are bright enough to interfere with readability on a normal TFT. This display also has anti-glare to further improve readability. The 40-pin LVDS interface makes it easy to match LVDS based microcontrollers.
